Interior Designer (MEL)

We’re on the hunt for a talented senior Interior Designer to join our thriving Melbourne team for a 12-month maternity leave contract! This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a collaborative space alongside our forward-thinking team, as we embark on a diverse array of projects spanning various typologies. 

You will be working in a welcoming and collaborative environment, with a focus on crafting beautiful interior design narratives for projects of all shapes and sizes.

Our ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience, a robust portfolio showcasing achievements in multi-residential design, as well as a solid grasp of construction principles and meticulous detailing. You might also have a background as an Interior Architect or Documenter, with a refined design aesthetic.

Responsibilities include:
  • Communicating with and presenting to clients
  • Nurturing seamless collaboration with builders, developers, suppliers, and fellow project consultants
  • On-site administration
  • Facilitating well-coordinated meetings and comprehensive design reviews
  • Contributing harmoniously to our dynamic team
Attributes/Skills necessary:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the above responsibilities of the role
  • Experience in multi-residential design
  • Embrace a collaborative spirit to nurture and percolate design
  • An all-rounder with strong design sensibilities and interior documentation experience
  • An effective communicator
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Experience in 3D conceptual resolution / excellent REVIT prowess
  • Adept understanding of construction nuances
  • Impeccable presentation and an approachable demeanour
  • A proactive and enthusiastic mindset
  • Willingness to learn and keenness to contribute to the development of the company
