Interior Designer (Brisbane)

This role is for an all-rounder Interior Designer, to contribute design excellence and project delivery within our dynamic practice in Brisbane. The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibilities with technical expertise, bringing both creative capability and documentation skills to our portfolio of projects particularly residential and multi-residential sectors. As a key project team member and emerging leader, this person will develop design solutions, manage client relationships, and coordinate with stakeholders while ensuring design quality and constructability. The successful candidate will demonstrate both design flair and technical competence in delivering sophisticated interior outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Develop interior design solutions and documentation
Communicating with and presenting to clients
Coordinate with builders and consultants
Manage supplier relationships and specifications
Conduct site inspections and administration
Facilitate design review meetings
Prepare technical documentation packages
Support project delivery processes
Assist in construction phase services
Maintain project quality standards
Collaborate within project teams
Lead, with oversight on budgets and forecasting deliverables

Desired skills/attributes

Approx. 5 years post-graduate interior design experience
Experience in various project typologies, particularly multi-residential
Technical documentation
Understanding of construction principles
Refined design aesthetic and sensibility
Proficiency in Revit and Sketchup
Excellent communication abilities
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and in teams
Detail-oriented approach
Problem-solving capability
Eagerness to learn and develop
Collaborative team mindset
