Project Architect

Are you an experienced Architect with an aptitude for all stages of the architectural process? We’re searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Architect to join our innovative team and embark on an inspiring journey in the world of design and construction.

This role is for an experienced Project Architect to lead technical documentation and team delivery within our dynamic practice. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with team leadership capabilities, bringing both detailed documentation skills and effective team management to our diverse portfolio of projects. As a key project team leader, this person will manage documentation processes, coordinate with stakeholders, and mentor team members while ensuring technical excellence and project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

Lead technical documentation from design development through construction documentation on multiple projects
Manage and coordinate consultant teams and contractor relationships
Implement building codes, standards, and regulations in project documentation
Lead site meetings and respond to contractor and client queries
Manage and mentor a team of architects and graduates
Oversee project programs, milestones, and team workload
Prepare and review documentation in Revit
Conduct quality assurance reviews of project documentation
Manage construction phase services as project superintendent
Support client relationships and project communications
Monitor project budgets and programs
Guide team resource allocation and priorities
Ensure documentation quality and consistency

Desired skills/attributes:

8-10 years of architectural experience
Advanced Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
Registered architect with relevant tertiary qualification
Demonstrated experience in technical documentation
Comprehensive knowledge of building codes and standards
Strong understanding of building contracts and construction administration
Excellent project and team management abilities
Proven ability to work across multiple projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Leadership capability with mentoring experience
Ability to work autonomously
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
