Senior Architect

This Melbourne based role is for a design-focused, registered Architect, with 10+ years of experience to contribute to creative design solutions within our dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will be motivated by creating meaningful design narrative with an understanding around viability of projects. The position is centred in our multi-residential front-end Team, led by Dom Cerantonio.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead client presentations and design meetings
  • Provide guidance and leadership across several team members and projects
  • Work on multi-residential projects from feasibility and concept through to Town Planning and early stages of Design Development
  • Develop creative design solutions
  • Coordinate with consultants
  • Participate in practice design reviews and team discussions
  • Design competitions and submissions
  • Engage in practice professional development activities
  • Forecasting and project budgeting working with the leadership team and operations
Desired skills/attributes:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Intuitive and adept leader
  • Over 10 years post-graduation experience
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative thinking
  • Highly skilled in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD and Enscape
  • Thorough knowledge of BADs and NCC
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team to a high standard
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative and problem-solving abilities
